Ethan Cox, a hot shot entrepreneur, appears to be on the verge of selling his self-driving car company and making his investors rich. However, a social media firestorm caused by his problematic Halloween costume nearly ends his career. To salvage his reputation, Ethan hires a 71-year-old snack cart vendor, Dotty, to be the face of his company, while he manages from behind the scenes. When Dotty starts expressing her own opinions, everything changes. The film is a comedy that explores authenticity and the lengths people will go to become who they were meant to be.
