The Three Mesquiteers, Stony Brooke, Rusty Joslin, and Rico Renaldo, take in a young orphan named Peggy after her father's death, but soon discover she's been injured and the orphanage's superintendent is hiding the truth. The trio decides to raise money for her treatment, but upon investigation, they uncover a child labor sweatshop in the orphanage's basement, run by the superintendent and his associate. Donning masks, they transform into the "Masked Rider" and work with a nurse to rescue the children and bring the corrupt officials to justice.
