Paige, a pre-med student from Manitowoc, falls in love with Eddie, a charming student from Denmark, whom she initially dislikes. When paparazzi discover their relationship, Paige learns Eddie's true identity as Crown Prince Edvard. As Edvard becomes king, Paige follows her heart to Copenhagen, where she is welcomed by the royal family. After a whirlwind romance, Edvard proposes, but Paige ultimately decides to pursue her dream of working with Doctors Without Borders, leaving Edvard to find an alternative plan.
