Cimarron

In the late 19th century, a newspaper editor and his spouse, initially uncertain about their new life, move to an Oklahoma boomtown in search of a fresh start.

In the Oklahoma territory, a restless settler named Yancey Cravat claims a plot of land and moves his family to the boom town of Osage, becoming a leading citizen. However, as the town establishes itself, Cravat feels confined and leaves his family behind, heading to the Cherokee Strip. Meanwhile, his wife Sabra must learn to fend for herself and soon becomes a prominent figure in her own right.
