A group of scientists, led by Dr. Sebastian Caine, discover a way to make animals invisible, and they decide to test the process on a human. Caine becomes the test subject, but the experiment goes awry, leaving him unable to reverse the effects. As a result, his personality begins to deteriorate, and he starts to hunt down and murder his colleagues.
