A young barn owl named Soren is taken by the owls of St. Aggie's, who claim to be an orphanage but are actually brainwashing owlets to become soldiers. Soren and his new friends flee to Ga'Hoole, where they join the noble owls who are fighting against the evil rulers of St. Aggie's.
