In the midst of a chaotic Iraq, a team of four American soldiers is dispatched on a high-stakes mission to recover stolen plates used to print a billion dollars. After completing their task and returning to base, their commanding officer is killed in an explosion, and the plates are pilfered by a cunning operative. The team faces court-martial and imprisonment, but fate intervenes when a CIA agent approaches the leader, Hannibal Smith, with knowledge of the plates' whereabouts. With the agent's aid, the team breaks free and embarks on a perilous quest to reclaim the stolen plates. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn as they uncover the agent's true intentions and confront a military intelligence officer with a personal vendetta against one of their own.
