The Kid from Broken Gun background

The Kid from Broken Gun

In the midst of a chaotic gold rush, the discovery of a hidden stash of gold coins left behind by Mexican Emperor Santa Ana sets off a maelstrom of deceit and violence among outlaws and unsuspecting townsfolk.

In the final appearance of The Durango Kid, Charles Starrett plays Steve Reynolds, a postal inspector who goes undercover to catch outlaws. He's aided by his trusty sidekick, an itinerant optometrist, and a newcomer, Jack Mahoney, who learns the ways of the West from Steve. Together, they work to bring justice to the land, with a predictable and familiar ending.
