Unbeknownst to a group of friends, a fateful weekend getaway to a remote cabin near Crystal Lake sets them on a collision course with the wrathful Jason Voorhees.
Jason Voorhees, recovering from a close call with his own machete, seeks revenge on all who venture into his woods.
