A group of young adults set up camp near a notorious summer camp where a series of murders occurred in 1980, committed by a grief-stricken mother seeking revenge for her son's drowning. The legend says the last survivor beheaded the mother, but her son, Jason, returned as a vengeful killer, armed with deadly weapons. The campers soon discover the horror is true.
