In the second Red Ryder film, Red discovers two silver conchas, the mark of the bandit El Conejo, and suspects he's being framed. He prevents El Conejo from killing Ace Hanlon, the saloon owner, and agrees to deliver him to the Marshal. On the way, El Conejo's men capture Red, but he beats them to the draw and convinces El Conejo to surrender. As El Conejo is being held in jail, Red and his friends prepare for a gang attack, but their plan is foiled when El Conejo is taken away and escapes.
