Billy the Kid must help a town banker and his rancher friends by identifying stolen money and capturing the outlaws who robbed the bank. The gang, led by the corrupt Mayor Dave Hill, plans to take over the ranchers' lands, which sit on rich oil deposits. Billy and his friend Fuzzy must uncover the truth and clear the banker's name before it's too late.
