Born in Dublin, Ireland, in the 1960s, Brian's initial nine years of life were spent in his homeland before his family relocated to North London, England, to establish a career in the pub trade. Despite this significant change, Brian's fondness for his native Ireland remained strong, and he ultimately decided to return home eight years later, at the age of seventeen, to forge his own path.
Upon his return, Brian immersed himself in various occupations, including catering, laboring, and factory work, in an effort to make a living and find his footing. His journey took an unexpected turn when he met his wife, Polly, in his early twenties, and the couple went on to have two sons, Larry and Kevin.
Throughout his life, Brian had always harbored a passion for acting, but family commitments had consistently prevented him from pursuing this interest. However, in his late thirties, Brian finally found the courage to take the leap and enroll in the Introduction to Acting course at the renowned Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in Brian's life, as he became hooked on acting and continued his training, gradually transitioning from low-budget short films and features to television and larger-scale productions.
Brian's dedication and perseverance eventually led him to secure a role in the highly acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones, which is set to premiere in early 2011.
