Gwen, a TV commercial director, has planned out her life to avoid being thrown off guard like she was when her father died at 13. She's engaged to Alex, a weatherman, and plans to move to LA after marriage. But when Alex doesn't propose on her 30th birthday, Gwen makes a secret wish to see 10 years into her future. She sees a vision of herself living in the suburbs with three kids and a minivan, and married to Dave, her ad agency partner. As her life starts to mirror the vision, Gwen must choose between sticking to her plan and following her heart, especially as Alex starts to pursue his own goals.
