Two friends, Sach and Duke, aim to debunk a stage hypnotist's authenticity by investigating his methods. Sach decides to undergo hypnosis, which leads him to a past life as a tax collector who obtained a treasure map from the infamous pirate Blackbeard. The hypnotist discovers the map's location and plans to use it to steal the treasure for himself, leaving the boys in a precarious situation.
