A reporter for The Blade newspaper, Chuck, is brutally beaten while investigating prison corruption. The Bowery Boys, Slip, Sach, and Butch, get themselves arrested to complete the expose from inside the prison, where they discover that ex-gangsters are living in luxury by bribing the corrupt Captain of the Guards.
