The Texas Rangers, Tex Wyatt, Jim Steele, and Panhandle Perkins, are on their way to Custer when they rescue Anne Miller from rustlers. Jim accepts a job on the Miller ranch, while Tex and Panhandle continue to Custer. They become embroiled in a dispute over the Custer Land and Cattle Company, where Frank Martin is trying to evict elderly settlers.
