In this western, Texas Ranger Sergeant Jim Steele investigates a horse rustling case that leads him to a group of suspects, including Pete Dawson. A new recruit, Tex Wyatt, arrives at the station and is tasked with tracking down Dawson, but Tex's eagerness to make an arrest leads to a confrontation and a dismissal from the service. Tex then joins a group of outlaws, unaware that they are connected to Dawson, and becomes embroiled in a cat-and-mouse game with the Rangers.
The Rangers Take Over
A seasoned Texas Ranger is hot on the trail of a cunning horse thief, but the thief's seemingly airtight alibi has the Ranger stumped. Just as the investigation is at a standstill, a new batch of recruits joins the station, including a bright and talented young lawman eager to prove himself.
