The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

As Hurricane Katrina ravages New Orleans, an elderly woman named Daisy Williams is nearing the end of her life in a hospital. Her adult daughter, Caroline, sits beside her, reading aloud from the diary of Daisy's lifelong friend, Benjamin Button. Benjamin's extraordinary life is marked by his aging backwards, diagnosed with various diseases at birth, but defying the odds to survive and grow younger with time. Raised by Queenie, a black caregiver, Benjamin's journey is intertwined with Daisy's, as they reconnect in their 40s, only to face the challenges of their unconventional relationship as Daisy ages and Benjamin grows younger.
