A rare vampire mutation, the Reaper, has emerged, preying on both humans and vampires, and transforming survivors into Reapers. As the Reaper population grows, it threatens the existence of vampires and humans. Blade, Whistler, and Scud are summoned by the Shadow Council to aid in the crisis. Blade forms an uneasy alliance with the Bloodpack, a team of elite vampire warriors, to defeat the Reapers and prevent their population from wiping out both species.
