In the movie, retired special forces agent Roy Pulver finds himself stuck in a time-loop, reliving the same day over and over. As he tries to make sense of the bizarre events, he becomes determined to uncover the truth behind his ex-wife Jemma's invention and how to use it to escape the loop. Along the way, he discovers a deeper connection to his pre-teen son Joe, who is struggling to come to terms with his father's absence. With the help of a Chinese sword expert and a mysterious colonel, Roy must use his skills and newfound understanding to change the course of his life and secure a better future for Joe.
