Two S.W.A.T. officers, Jim Street and Brian Gamble, are sent to stop a violent bank robbery, but their actions result in a hostage being shot. Street is suspended, while Gamble is fired. Later, a veteran officer, Hondo, assembles a new S.W.A.T. team, including three rookies, to take on a challenging mission: preventing a notorious French crime boss, Alex Montell, from escaping from prison.
