Chev Chelios, still reeling from a near-death experience, finds himself in a precarious situation. His organs are being harvested by a group of Chinese, and his heart is missing, replaced with a temporary artificial one. With only an hour to live, Chev must navigate a treacherous web of shadowy figures, ice chests, and his own mortality, all while being aided by a motley crew of allies, including a stripper, a prostitute, and a friend with Tourette's.
